We use only the highest-quality materials to make our clothes. All basics are made from 100% certified organic cotton, meaning that no harmful chemicals or pesticides go into making the collection, while our Play-all-day Leggings contain a minimum of spandex (5%) to give a nice stretch.

In the fashion industry, it often seems hard to tell how sustainable a brand really is. Thankfully, there are strict global certifications that monitor the entire supply chain and ensure fair ecological and social practices. We decided to produce our entire collection under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres. This way, you can know exactly what you are buying. Please check out this video to understand how GOTS works!

We produce all our basics at a family-run manufacturer in Porto, Portugal. All sourced materials and all working conditions underly strict ethical and environmental standards ( Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)) and are monitored by independent third-party organisations. We keep a very close and personal relationship with our manufacturing partner and visit the facilities regularly.

Every little thing counts in protecting the environment. We recommend washing your clothes at 30-40 degrees, which is perfectly fine for getting everything clean and is much more environmentally friendly than washing at 60 degrees.

We love to send our basics to as many places as possible, but currently do not ship to the following countries at this point:

Germany:
- Free delivery in Germany for all orders above 60 Euros.
- For orders below 60 Euros, a shipping fee of 2.90 Euro is charged.

EU & International:
- Free delivery to countries outside Germany for all orders above 100 Euros.
- For international orders below 100 Euros, a shipping fee of just 6.90€ is charged.

We also offer express shipping, to get your basics even faster to you:
- EU Express Shipping (2 working days, UPS) = 9.90 Euros
- Worldwide Express Shipping (4 working days, UPS) = 13.90 Euros

Unfortunately there is always some material needed when it comes to sending out packages. We try to be as ethical and sustainable as possible at every step, including how we ship to you.

We always use packaging made with recycled contents or that is biodegradable/ FSC certified paper. We bundle multiple clothes together to reduce waste, while making sure that your basics are always kept safe and sound.

We also send the majority of our packages with DHL GoGreen, a program that offsets the greenhouse gas emissions arising from parcel transport.

Yes, you are free to cancel your order as long as it wasn't shipped yet. Please reach out to us at support@orbasics.com, so we can help.

If you’re not happy with your new items or they don´t fit, we will gladly accept your return within 14 days after you received it. The package may have been opened, but please understand that we are unable to accept returns that are worn, washed, damaged or changed in any other way. Reduced goods are excluded from exchange or return.
